The Mixing technology laboratory is engaged in basic and applied research about mixing-related subjects as well as the development of new technologies leading to product commercialization. In the field of fluid analysis in the mixing tank, the laboratory maintains world-leading analysis equipment and experimental analysis methods.

-
- Fluid analysis in mixing tank --- Experimental analysis (PIV, PTV, LDV, 3D-Lagrange, etc.) and CFD
- Research and development of impellers based on the aerofoil theory combined with mixing action
- Application-based research about mixing technologies from the viewpoints of the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries
- Research into scaling up to actual products
- Research into material mechanics and structural dynamics --- Including industrial design-related factors related to basic research and the structural study of vibrations
- Study into machine-related subjects including noise and sealing problems
- Applied study and development of mixing equipment based on the concept that involves the combination of mixing action and fluid flow
- Promotion of futuristic innovative R&D on mixing
Considering the mixers are the fluid machinery, we are promoting wide-ranging research and development projects from the viewpoints of both hardware and software without limiting ourselves to one-dimensional studies.
In addition to that, we are ready to conduct collaborative research and development of applications based on security contracts, in order to respond to the ever progressing needs of our customers.
